After a restful day in Madrid following the bull fight we had an uneventful flight to Paris. It was a typical easyJet flight, about an hour late starting, long queues, full flight, overcrowded seats without leg room, no place for bags in overhead racks, etc. Still, the price was right and we got to Paris.
So far we have spent our time making contact with old acquaintances and setting up house.The weather is extraordinarily cold for this time of year with the temperature during the day hovering between -1 and 7 degrees. This is quite a contrast from last year when the average temperature was about 16 degrees.
It is holy week and for our French language friends a little vocabulary.
"Ash Wednesday" is "mercredi des cendres"
"Good Friday" is "vendredi sant"
"Easter Sunday" is "dimanche de Pâques"
