We stayed at the quirky but comfortable Hotel des quatre Soeurs, visited the Cathedral, walked along the mall and enjoyed an excellent meal before turning in for an early night. Tomorrow we pick up the rental car and head off.

A day in Bordeaux
We came to Bordeaux last year and fell very much under the spell of this beautiful city. In a sense, this year was a reprise of 2012. The main difference was that the Matersons were with us and we only had one night to rush around the major sights.
We stayed at the quirky but comfortable Hotel des quatre Soeurs, visited the Cathedral, walked along the mall and enjoyed an excellent meal before turning in for an early night. Tomorrow we pick up the rental car and head off.
